Dungeon Rampage Remastered — Sorcerer Builds: Damage or Two-Scroll Support

Evidence checked · Source review November 6, 2026 · dated Remastered guidance

The short answer

The updated community guide recommends 75 Magic Power, 50 Mana Regen, 75 Clockwork and 0 Max Mana for its default Sorcerer. For a support setup using two Scrolls, it changes to 50 / 75 / 75 / 0: less Magic Power and more regeneration for frequent support casts.

Clockwork is the current stat name. An older Magic Defense allocation should not be copied into that column without checking the training changes.

Each row allocates 200 points in total and treats 75 as the per-stat ceiling shown by the source. It is a finished allocation, not a verified level-by-level spending order. If you do not have that many points, use the stated role to plan ahead; the source does not establish a refund method, a respec cost or a mandatory order for your next point.

Match the support allocation to support equipment

The support row assumes two Scrolls. The author describes spending more of the run healing and buffing, so the points moved into Mana Regen serve repeated support actions. It is not simply a stronger version of the default damage row.

  1. Decide whether you are the group’s support caster or a damage caster.
  2. Check that you own the Scrolls needed for the support role.
  3. Compare Magic Power and Mana Regen after choosing the role; both source rows keep Clockwork at 75.
  4. If support cannot be sustained, check the actual spells and equipment you are using rather than inventing a Max Mana refund rule.

Clockwork and the 1.0 weapon changes

The February update replaced Magic Defense with Clockwork. The developer describes it as reducing cooldown and charge time and improving attack speed. That explains why the recommendation’s current column differs from an old training chart. February 9 training update.

The 1.0 notes increased damage growth on Arc, Blast, Nova, Lightning Book, Shockwave and Thunderstorm. Those dated weapon changes are not proof that an old test’s exact damage rate still applies, and a cosmetic Dark Mage change is not the same thing as this hero-wide weapon balance. November 3 1.0 notes.

The costs of a magic-focused kit

The source highlights area damage, crowd control and Scroll utility. Its limitations include magic-only damage, low health and health regeneration, and limited mobility without speed Scrolls. A group-support plan can reduce your own damage; a speed Scroll dependency also means the movement benefit is not automatic on every loadout.

You have selected a Sorcerer role, checked your two-Scroll support loadout or default casting role, and compared the four named training values with the allocation you intended. If the weapon assumption is missing or a later patch changes that stat, revisit the choice rather than treating the row as a guaranteed result.
