Dungeon Rampage Remastered — Settings & Controls: Keyboard and Steam Input

Evidence checked · Source review November 6, 2026 · dated Remastered guidance

The short answer

The November 5 hotfix adds O to open settings both in town and during a run. The 1.0 settings update provides keyboard rebinding and the Steam Input Wizard for controllers, plus FPS, VSync, windowed mode and rumble options.

For quick display and weapon actions, the same 1.0 notes name Alt + Enter for fullscreen/windowed switching and scroll wheel for cycling weapons. Old original-game key lists are not automatically the current Remastered defaults.

FPS, VSync and the known UI-animation issue

The modular settings menu includes configurable FPS, VSync and windowed mode, along with reset-settings and rumble controls. The 1.0 notes list UI animations running too fast above 60 FPS as a known issue. That is a reason to compare the installed build and settings; it is not a measured performance prescription for every machine.

The notes separately warn that tools bypassing network deep-packet inspection (DPI) may need to be disabled before launch. This is a networking warning, not a display-DPI or cursor-scaling diagnosis; the source does not establish a universal small-cursor repair.

Controller fixes do not replace checking your binding

The 1.0 release adds controller-oriented UI, virtual keyboard, rumble and glyph support. The November 5 hotfix separately fixes accidentally leaving a dungeon while mashing controller buttons. If an input behaves unexpectedly, verify the current binding and version before assuming an old workaround is still required.

  1. Open settings using the documented current route.
  2. Choose keyboard rebinding or the Steam Input configuration path for your device.
  3. Change only the relevant input or display setting and check the result.
  4. For a continuing reproducible bug, record the version, device and what happened, then use the official bug-report channel.

You have reached the appropriate settings or Steam Input route and checked the action you changed. A still-unresolved bug should be reported with its version and reproduction steps rather than labeled fixed.
