Dungeon Rampage Remastered — Berserker Builds: Control or Campaign Damage

Evidence checked · Source review November 6, 2026 · dated Remastered guidance

The short answer

For crowd control in Ultimate Rampage, the updated community guide assigns 0 Melee Power, 50 Fury, 75 Max Health and 75 Ultimate Defense. Its assumption is two Battle Hammers plus a crowd-control Boomerang or axe. For a campaign damage role, it instead uses 50 / 75 / 75 / 0 in that same stat order.

The first option invests in staying alive while controlling enemies; the second gives up that defense investment for melee damage and Fury. They are alternatives for different jobs, not a claim that one allocation wins every mode.

Pick the job before assigning the points

AllocationMelee PowerFuryMax HealthUltimate DefenseChoose it for
UR crowd control0/7550/7575/7575/75Two Battle Hammers plus either a Boomerang with a CC modifier or an axe; stay near enemies to control them.
Campaign damage50/7575/7575/750/75A damage-focused campaign setup, accepting the lower training investment in defense.

Each row allocates 200 points in total and treats 75 as the per-stat ceiling shown by the source. It is a finished allocation, not a verified level-by-level spending order. If you do not have that many points, use the stated role to plan ahead; the source does not establish a refund method, a respec cost or a mandatory order for your next point.

Why the crowd-control weapons matter

The zero-Melee-Power row is built around a control role. It assumes you can equip the two Battle Hammers and the supporting crowd-control weapon; it does not prove that an arbitrary starting weapon will reproduce the same job. Check the weapon family and actual modifier before copying the allocation.

  1. Decide whether you are controlling a difficult UR group or clearing campaign content for damage.
  2. Check your available hammers and supporting Boomerang or axe.
  3. Match the four training names, not just the order of numbers in an old screenshot.
  4. If your equipment cannot supply the intended control, use a damage-oriented plan you can support instead of assuming the missing effect comes from training.

Ultimate Defense and Rampage are different protections

The February training update replaced Berserker’s Max Mana upgrade with Ultimate Defense, covering magic, shooting and melee defense. An old build using a Max Mana column does not map directly onto the current four-column setup. Update #9 · February 9, 2026.

The November 3 notes separately say Rampage keeps health from dropping below 10% of maximum while the buff applies. That is a specific buff rule, not permanent invulnerability, universal trap immunity or a reason to ignore defensive equipment. 1.0 patch notes.

Strengths, costs and a failed fit

The source highlights high health, defense, regeneration and crowd control. Its stated weaknesses are mana and mana regeneration. A plan that controls well can still struggle to sustain repeated abilities; the damage row also gives up the 75-point defense investment. If survival or mana is failing, identify that problem before adding damage by default.

Compare defensive effects separately in the 1.0 defense guide; training points do not make every consumable or weapon modifier stack without a cap.

You have selected a Berserker role, checked the two-hammer/control-weapon assumption or your campaign damage goal, and compared the four named training values with the allocation you intended. If the weapon assumption is missing or a later patch changes that stat, revisit the choice rather than treating the row as a guaranteed result.
