Dungeon Rampage Remastered — Skins, Heroes & DLC: What Changes?

Evidence checked · Source review November 6, 2026 · dated Remastered guidance

The short answer

A hero unlock and a cosmetic skin are different things. The 1.0 notes introduce Pyromancer and Dragon Knight as unlockable heroes, while calling Sushi Chef a DLC skin. The April notes likewise distinguish the HD Dark Mage cosmetic from the separate Sorcerer weapon balance.

Do not assume every paid item is only cosmetic: the community pet comparison describes behavioral differences for Venom Dragon and Shadow Wolf. Check the exact product rather than applying one rule to all DLC.

Sushi Chef1.0 calls it a DLC skin.It is a separate new combat class.

Read the current listing before buying

  1. Identify whether the listing is a hero, skin, pet or another item.
  2. Read what it says it grants and whether it requires the base game or a particular hero.
  3. Use the current regional listing for price and availability; an author’s euro price is not a global live price.
  4. Separate a base-hero balance patch from a cosmetic release mentioned in the same announcement.

The sources here do not establish a complete entitlement table, refund outcome or every backer reward’s current availability.

Choose the build after identifying the actual hero

Once you know the playable hero you are using, choose its own training and weapon plan. A new appearance does not by itself supply a new training allocation. Start with Battle Chef for the Chef role or Sorcerer for the caster role, and read the dated release conditions beside the cosmetic.

For the two heroes added in 1.0, use the separate Pyromancer and Dragon Knight build comparisons. We do not invent their unlock costs from original-game guides.

You can identify the actual product type and playable hero, and have checked the live listing rather than confusing a skin, hero unlock and pet variant.
