Dungeon Rampage Remastered — Gold & XP Farming: Dated Route Comparison

Evidence checked · Source review November 6, 2026 · dated Remastered guidance

The short answer

For a dated route comparison, Shingeki’s December 20, 2025 test favors Frostgaard 1–3, Gladiator for a level-100 pure-gold speed setup, and the first Prisoner’s Keep Grindhouse for pre-100 gold plus XP. Nielzin’s December 12 report supplies a separate beginner alternative at Dark Barrows Boss.

These reports predate later economy changes. They support choosing which route fits your progression and equipment; they do not establish the current best gold-per-hour farm.

Choose by access, level and the reward you need

  1. Check which destination your active hero can enter. A fast route is irrelevant if that hero has not unlocked it.
  2. If you still need XP, compare the pre-100 Prisoner’s Keep use case with a pure-gold level-100 setup.
  3. If you lack the speed-build equipment, do not assume Shingeki’s Frostgaard timing will transfer to your run.
  4. For an earlier destination, compare the Dark Barrows option instead of treating every player as endgame.
  5. Record your own completion time and actual rewards under the current version before deciding which route is best for you.

The two reports differ in routes, boost conditions and character context. They do not form one controlled benchmark.

Why these numbers are historical

The March update increases gold in the first four leagues by roughly 50%. The November 1.0 notes increase the UR per-floor gold cap from 3,000 to 7,500, and the November 5 hotfix changes Legendary Gold/XP modifiers to 25%, non-stacking and all-reward scope. March update; 1.0 notes; November 5 hotfix.

Those changes make it unsafe to advertise the December hourly figures as a current payout promise. They also do not justify multiplying every old figure by one common percentage: the routes and reward systems differ.

Select the route rather than assuming an auto-repeat

Use the Battle Menu replay route to locate an old completed dungeon. Failed-run Retry and the next-dungeon button do different jobs. Neither source proves an automatic farming loop or an offline farm.

Set Friends Only beforehand if you want to reduce random joining; friends can still join and the game still needs internet. This guide does not recommend bots, exploits or an unattended loop.

You have chosen an accessible route for your level and goal, kept boosts and equipment conditions explicit, and treated the old totals as historical rather than a current best-farm guarantee.
