Dungeon Rampage Remastered — Ghost Samurai Builds: Default or Quick Step

Evidence checked · Source review November 6, 2026 · dated Remastered guidance

The short answer

The community guide’s default Ghost Samurai allocation is 50 Melee Power, 75 Spirit Energy, 0 Movement Speed and 75 Max Health. Its Quick Step option is 0 / 75 / 75 / 50. The mobility recommendation assumes a Light Katana plus a Short Sword with the hold-to-dash action.

The Quick Step option trades Melee Power and some health for movement. It is not a straight damage upgrade, and the named dash behavior should not be assumed for every weapon.

Default durability versus Quick Step movement

AllocationMelee PowerSpirit EnergyMovement SpeedMax HealthChoose it for
Default50/7575/750/7575/75Retain melee investment and more maximum health.
Quick Step0/7575/7575/7550/75Prioritize movement and Spirit Energy, sacrificing melee training and some health.

Each row allocates 200 points in total and treats 75 as the per-stat ceiling shown by the source. It is a finished allocation, not a verified level-by-level spending order. If you do not have that many points, use the stated role to plan ahead; the source does not establish a refund method, a respec cost or a mandatory order for your next point.

Keep the Light Katana and Short Sword condition

The source ties its movement advice to Light Katana and Short Sword, including holding for the dash. A row with 75 Movement Speed does not certify that any replacement weapon reproduces the same movement toolkit.

  1. Check that the named weapon types are available.
  2. Decide whether mobility or the default row’s health and melee allocation matters more for your run.
  3. Compare the Spirit Energy column in both rows: it stays at 75.
  4. If the dash or movement sequence is missing, verify the equipped weapon and its hold action before copying more points into Movement Speed.

The dated Remastered kit boundary

The April 20 update introduced Ghost Samurai with katanas, swords and light throwing weapons, describing its original kit as retained at that point. That is useful kit context, not proof that a classic-game build’s prices, numbers or progression requirements all remain current. Ghost Samurai update · April 20, 2026.

The November-updated community allocation is the source used for the four training columns above.

Mobility is not free defense or mana

The author highlights physical damage and movement but notes weak defense, weak health regeneration and high mana drain. The Quick Step row reduces Max Health from 75 to 50 while removing Melee Power investment. If you run out of resources or die after a dash, investigate those costs instead of treating the hero’s mobility as invulnerability. We do not reproduce the source’s subjective hero-ranking labels as measured rankings.

You have selected a Ghost Samurai role, checked the Light Katana/Short Sword condition and the health-versus-movement trade, and compared the four named training values with the allocation you intended. If the weapon assumption is missing or a later patch changes that stat, revisit the choice rather than treating the row as a guaranteed result.
